Re-organise scanned coin data for sculpting using ZBrush Dynamesh

okay this is a quick video to show how to change the resolution on a scanned scanned model this is a scan coin it's very small the scanned data is quite weak it's less than 500 polygons watch what happens when I sculpt over it it's blocky and faceted and there's no way I'm going to be able to put in any detail back into there so what we are going to do that well the reason for that is if I turn on the poly frames here you can see that the polygons are very big and poorly spaced when I sculpt over the top and basically just moving these triangles around and there's no detail in it at all so what we need to do is go over to dynamesh and dynamesh will reorganize the polygons on the model to make them easier to sculpt with so for this I'm just going to set the resolution to about 500 so it won't be a super high resolution but it'll be reasonably quick to show you what happens and then hit the dynamesh button and we'll wait a second okay and now when we look at the polygons on the model they are much more evenly spaced much denser and that means that I can now sculpt over the top and I've lost all of that blockiness okay and the level of resolution that you set on the dynamesh slider will increase or decrease the number of polygons you get depends on your your computer and the detail you need to put back in and that is that
